[KH, SPN] Drabble
A couple more fulfilled requests - written on the subway on my way downtown yesterday.

Title: Paopu fruit
Pairing/Characters: Sora/Kairi
Rating: G
Wordcount: 100
AN: Post-KH, slightly AU/futureverse
Did you pack everything, she asks again; he nods, smiles, and pats the basket with an easy (the one that makes her feel assured) smile.
He probably packed and repacked with more care than she would have given the task; that was never her favourite part - (it is the eating, the sharing)
It would be years before things would get to this point, but somehow, as Sora (bright, youthful, just sixteen) placed half of the yellow bright fruit into her hands (droplets of dew dripping over her fingers), she knew this picnic was not going to be the last.

Title: When a memory never leaves you
Pairing/Characters: Ruby
Rating: PG
Wordcount: 112
AN: Pre-canon
She should have forgotten by now -
(her mother, her father, her three younger sisters)
- magic, smoke, grey skies, the farm.
A puncture in her flesh (a sickening wet sound), but she never forgets.
- spells, her coven, rituals, candles burning in their wicks, the sun breaking, smell of flame, of incense.
You'll be like us, (but I can't) -
Her hair was brown, her eyes dark like her fathers (bright, this one); but not bright enough.
- the smell of dogs, saliva dripping from sharp teeth, the sour stench of breath, fierce (determined) howls as they pierce her chest with dread and things to come.
And she can never forget.
More drabble to come, soon.
